Casal Borsetti
Once fisherman's land, Casal Borsetti got his name from the small cottage-casello of the financier Giovanni Borsetti, whose job was to watch over the coast and in order to improve his salary he became a cobbler. Nowadays it's an international holidays meeting point where you can also find a port and the largest camping area in Ravenna's district.
Beach, pinewood and various sport centres as well as tennis, football, futsal and skating, make of Casal Borsetti a pleasant place for a relaxing healthy holiday. The village feast is celebrated on San Lorenzo's day, the 10th August: after various entertainments on the beach and throughout the village, in the afternoon an expected even for all the guests, where tourists and inhabitants climb greasy pole... on the sea "Cuccagna acquatica".
Beyond the beach and fully immersed in the green pinewood there are beautiful paths for Jogging, walks and riding bikes. There's also a beach where is allowed the access to dogs and pets.
